This session provides participants with the opportunity to consider the design and development of mentoring and coaching programmes, focusing on the diversity of needs, and how the degree of diversity influences programme design and development. Aspects of diversity include geographical, cultural, role orientation, and developmental domains. Providing an in-depth case study exemplar of developmental mentoring for humanitarian field workers, participants will appreciate the complexities and considerations given to all elements of the programme management cycle.
Dr Julie Haddock-Millar is an Associate Professor of HRM at Middlesex University Business School (UK), Visiting Professor at the International University of Monaco, EMCC UK Executive Board joint Professional Development Director, and EMCC Global WorkGroup leader for the International Standards in Mentoring and Coaching Programmes (ISMCP) for EMCC. She is EMCC accredited at Senior Practitioner level.
